OVERVIEW

Asterisk will host a hospitality seminar event on March 4th, 2019. In this event, we will introduce great potential business opportunities generated from the inbound HNW from various perspectives to domestic business operators in Japan’s luxury resort markets. This event is the 2nd seminar event in the series of “Inbound HNW Market and Business Opportunities: Snow Resort.”

Our first resort seminar event held on October 9th last year attracted over 120 participants, which is significantly higher than the original planned event capacity.

Summary of last event can be accessed from the below links;

While the inbound tourism market continues to grow rapidly and IR (integrated resort) is being introduced in designated markets progressly; the provision of luxury services to inbound HNW tourists is not only an important theme in the center of major cities, but also in resort areas and rural areas, which will help to promote regional creation and cultural sustainability in the local communities.

For example, Niseko in Hokkaido is a resort destination where recognition from domestic businesses is not so high, but demand from overseas HNW tourists and property buyers is phenomenal. While many overseas operators who have noticed this opportunity are entering this market, domestic Japanese companies have made little progress and are missing significant business opportunities. It is important to realize the opportunities and make efforts to develop a business model with sustainable returns to the local community.

We have invited speakers from local resort management companies and global players who have achieved great success in inbound HNW tourism market to share about their unique experience and insights on the trends and demand in this specific market.

GOYOH Co., Ltd. will propose ideas to provide Japan’s highest attractions and services in the areas of clothing, housing, arts, culture, entertainment, education, medical care, beauty, transportation, demanded by the global ultra high net worth individuals. We will also propose solutions on the issue of serious shortages of human resources in inbound tourism services, which is emerging as a major issue in the hospitality sectors recently.  GOYOH website: https://www.goyoh.jp/
